Chapter VI

Planetary Consciousness

This was the first of a series of three sessions [chapters 6, 7 and 8] that took place over two days late in the fall of 1982 in Marin County, California. Since my last session with Deva about six months earlier, I had felt that I was never alone while treating patients. A flow of thoughts, along with visual images, was continuously sent my way, step by step guiding me in my practice. This guidance was not dominating, but rather like a stream of gentle insights and suggestions on the steps in healing. At any time I felt free to choose my actions, but it became easier and easier to enter a flow of “inaction in action,” operating from a place of pure awareness instead of rational thought.

Since I was keenly interested in the pyramids’ position throughout history, in this channeling Tom would explain that the pyramids were already known in Lemuria. There they were used for maintaining citizens’ spiritual awareness and establishing telepathic connections with other spheres and planes of existence.

 
Tom: This device was utilized and built upon cultural exchanges during the Atlantean and Lemurian times.  Lemuria was the first evolved civilization by

the spiritual presence you now call mankind, and was the first Garden of Eden.  All individuals of that particular time period existed at one level of consciousness, and everyone was intermingled telepathically.  There was literally only one mind on the plane, and everyone shared equally in what was known as the planetary consciousness.

Soon, Atlantis began developing technologies at a rapid rate, and the philosophy that was advanced in Atlantis became slightly different from the philosophy of Lemuria.  The Lemurians primarily derived all of their consciousness from natural sources and from organic technologies.  However, the Atlanteans began to evolve differently, and believed that technology preceded consciousness, rather than consciousness preceded technology. 

This was a slight step downward in the planet’s growth. It was during the co-existence of Lemuria and Atlantis that the construction of devices similar to yours first came into usage...
